Here is a question for you? Who is RAB? Personally I think that its Regulas Black (Sirius) brother. There is nobody else in all the books that have those innitials. She never brings up anyone or anything without mentioning it prior and there is a sort of introduction. Remember in the 5th book when Harry got to Grimwald Place and Sirius and Harry were looking at the Black family tapestry. Sirius said that he " doubted that Voldamort killed him personally" because "he didn't think that he was that impotent". I forgot how it was worded exactly.

Now J.K. has never brought up a character to not bring up again. Sirius was mentioned in the first chapter of the 1st book, however, wasn't brought up again til the 3rd book.

I hope that you are still reading cause I am getting close to answering your question. Promise.

Now I think Runes are going to be brought into the next book somehow, and will be very important. Think about it. Hermione is the only one who has taken it and she(J.K) keeps bringing it up. One of the subplots in the 3rd book was her time turner so she could take ancient runes.

Now to answer your specific questions (ty for your patience with my ramble) yes, I think Dumbledore is dead. However, there is a plan behind it. Remember the argument that Snape and Dumbledore had that Harry overheard. Harry is known for overreacting and not getting all the facts straight. Remember he thought that Dumbledore hated him in the 5th book. We all know that wasn't the case. I think that the argument got so heated because he told Snape to kill him and he didn't want to, or something along the lines of that. Now I do agree with you that it is part of a larger plan.

Now as far as Sirius goes I think that it is possible that the curtian at the Ministry of Magic will be important. Maybe he was kept in some type of chryogenic sleep of sorts. Or. Maybe, he will be reunited with his brother and help the fight. However, at this point it is just my speculation. Back on point.

It is possible that Snape is the hero in this one. She did make him to easy to dislike in the last book. One thing is for certian I think that Harry and Voldimort will die. I think that the final horcrux is Harry. I also read that she doesn't want anyone else to make more books after she has finished them. So killing the main character would make sence.

I do hope that there is more story in the last one. I was a little dissapointed in the last one. There were way less sub plots. I mean what happened to S.P.E.W? Longbottom....well you get what I mean. Sorry that this is so long, but I ramble. I am excited about the last one coming out. We will just have to wait and see.

Happy waiting!

Sirius and Dumbledore are sadly dead, but I don't think Snape is a bad guy. He has to be good because Dumbledore trusted him and there has to be a reason for that. I think in the 7th book Snape will save Harrys life.

Yes Dumbledore is dead. I think there is a possibility of his return (his pet is a pheonix after all).

I also think that "Siruis is dead" is sort of a metaphoric death like: the person you once knew as Sirius is no longer, but his body remains. Just a though I always had. The idea of him falling behind a curtain and a pretty anti-climaxic way to die and the total lack of a body or explaination is a bit disheartening. I would hate for his "death" to be written off like it was just another even. I'd be really disappointed.

I also believe that when Dumbledore pleeds with Snape on the parapets that he was pleeding with him to kill him, not to spare his life. There has to be some sort of extra story there nothing that Snape did through out the rest of the stories ever hinted that he would really turn on Dumbledore like that.

Sadly, I think Dumbledore has truly died. But, I do think Sirius may still be alive, since he didn't technically die, he just kinda disappeared behind that mysterious curtain thing. And as far as Snape goes...I guess we'll have to wait and see how he turns out. He could be pursuing this big elaborate plan where to get Voldemort's trust, he must prove that he's faithful, and therefore killing Dumbledore was the perfect oppurtunity (although a sacrifice), even though in the end he'll be against Voldemort. But who knows! He could turn out to be just as evil as he seems.

Look at alllllll the phoenix imagery surrounding Dumbledore. Yes, he is dead. But I don't think he's going to stay that way.

And Snape...double-double agent. If anything, this book confirmed that he's a good guy. Gotta read between the lines, but...the unbreakable vow stated that he would protect Draco and fulfill his mission if he could not; Draco was ordered to kill Dumbledore against threat of his family's death; Dumbledore agreed to be killed by Snape rather than force Draco into this action when he still has a very good chance at redemption. I think Snape confirms his good-guy-ness when he's chasing Harry after he kills Dumbledore and yells at Harry to use silent spells--he was helping Harry out.

Either that or Dumbledore is really the bad guy...

Dumbledore is dead. Snape is in Voldemort's back pocket. Sirius Black is dead too. I've read some articles that say Rowlings is planning to bump Harry off in the next/last book. She doesn't want some other writer bringing him back.

When snape made the unbreakable vow he consented to all. However the last request it said his hand twitched which may make the final part of the vow null in void.
Also in the fifth book, voldemort sent a killing curse at dumbledore but fawkes swallowed it. Why didnt he do it this time?
I just dont see Dumbledore making such a big mistake regards Snape.
However there is a hole in my theory. Snape told Narcissa that he gave Voldemort information that led to the death of Emmeline Vance, and dumbledore would never have allowed that.
So we are just going to have to wait for the final installment.

I'm sorry hon, but he is well and truely dead. Sirius Black is mostly likely dead. Snape has the possibility of being a "good guy," though I have my doubts still about his role. I guess we'll find out in the next book for sure.

Dumbledore is dead...Snape killed him.
I seriously doubt Sirius Black is still alive, and I also dont think Snape would ever change his bad ways.
