I am a tennis player, last year my coach and I seriously debated on the topic that weather or not I should turn pro,last December I was chossen for a national level tournament,but my parents refused,there only reason was that it will affect my grades.Now guys do you really think that their verdict was right

You should try spelling bee as a hobbit and learn to make Aloo curry and Masala Dosa as your side kick, talk to your parents more, be top of your game...there you have it...win-win situation.

If your are ranked lst. or 2nd. in your country, you have an opportunity to became pro, first you have to play small tournaments, satellites, challengers, travel to play this tournaments, that requires money, I think your parents were right, the way to be a pro player besides ability and good game is harder and requires money.

What the parents say goes. That's it end of story. You don't have to like what they say but you have to obey and respect them.

I can't say. I don't know you or your study habits. Strike a deal with them though- they let you try, if your grades slip you quit.

IT HAPPENS YOUR CASE.

BUT MANY PARENTS ENCOURAGE THEIR KIDS IN TENNIS.

I THINK YOUR PARENTS CANT AFFORD THE MONEY AND RISK YOUR STUDIES.
