don't remember, but i definitely kept telling my kids over and over that life is not fair so they wouldn't expect it cuz i figured it out really soon. there is no such thing as fair. i think schools and justice systems attempt to hold it as an ideal. the concept is around. it can just never be fully implemented. sort of like "perfect".

Thank god no. I was sitting in a meeting the other day with a chinless wonder who added nothin but "but that's not fair" the entire fraking time. LIFE IS NOT FAIR

Life is what you make it. If you want it to be a good life then you will strive to make it that way. Struggles may come but you have to continue on and push through them. Life is great and we make it what we want it to be.

it's a born thing (until we are taught to ignore our conscience).
example...
kids know that it's unfair to take their stuff (stealing). if anyone disagrees, then just take their stuff and see how they react.
kids know it is unfair to cut in line in front of them... just try it and see what happens.
