Yahoo is set to be my home page. But it doesn't work ("site cannot be found"). Same goes for when I type it in the URL bar or click on my Yahoo bookmark. The sub-pages, such as Yahoo Sports or Yahoo Mail, work fine. All other sites work fine. Just not the home page. But I know there's no issue on Yahoo's end because my computer at work can access it just fine. Is there some sort of malware or spyware that might be on my home computer causing this? Seems so strange, and I can't find anything about it by searching. It is driving me insane. I have recently downloaded Spy Bot Search and Destroy, and run a scan and "fixed" the problems it found. Don't see how that would cause this, though. Any suggestions or answers or tips would be very much appreciated. Thanks!!

maybe it was a virus and the spybot destroyed it in time. use some other virus scanning software like Norton Antivirus or use windows defender. Certain antivirus software picks up some viruses and leaves others. so scan using othersoftwares just to be safe.
