are the american people so war weary that they will vote the democrats in. if they are tired of war now wait until the democrats get in and the war comes to our home soil.
i've never seen a more power hungry bunch than the democrats. they have done nothing but try and ruin america since bush got in. they did away with the wire tapping which bill clinton started, they don't want the patriot act or any thing else that keeps us safe. they want to cut and run, to let the terrorists to regroup. they got rid of liberman, who votes liberal 90 percent of the time, because he wanted to keep us safe.
i can go on but why, the concrete headed liberals will never listen. they hate bush and americans.

First, Bush is not just hated for the War, although it is an unjust war which God will decide when his time comes. Second, he went against his party when he enlarged the government and is throwing billions of dollars away when we desperately need it at home. One day, the bill will come and the result might be everyone only being worth half as much as they use to be.
As for jh's comment regarding Republicans:
rational: not from what I've read on Answers, all of you are either very religious and see Bush's war as the new Crusades or just not very informed
silent: don't make me laugh. You see this question. And multiple others, you guys are far from silent.
turning up: that I'm sure you'll do. Otherwise Bush could never have won another 2nd election.
God save this Country.

It's certainly possible. Let this be a lesson - in a democracy, never underestimate the political dimension of a war. Given how rabid the left is I'm surprised that Bush didn't get turned out in '04. Regardless of justifications for invading Iraq, it probably would've been better to just go into Afghanistan and back off Iraq, giving Hussein just enough rope to hang himself. Now, it's likely that Democrats will take over congress, which will probably mean pulling out of Iraq, leaving it to Al-Qaeda or Iran. It'll probably mean impeachment hearings too - even if unsuccessful, they could play that out until '08 in order to insure an '08 Democrat presidential victory. That will be nice little distraction. To a politician, politics and power are everything.

Don't be fooled. It's all about power.
THEY'RE BOTH THE SAME.
They will enact the same policies:
Big govt. spending
Erosion of your constitutional rights
One world government.
Look at the policies of both parties. BOTH are working towards the same ends. In a lot of cases they actually work together. One sets up the ball, the other hits it.
Clinton set up an environment for terrorism, then under Bush, it happened and they had an excuse to take away more of your rights and push the global agenda.
What is Bush setting up now for the incoming Democrats?
We've got to get away from this all and go back to the Constitution.

I'm nervous as well.
I'm nervous that the will of the American people won't be enough to remove this extremely corrupt and extremist wing of the Republican party from our nation's leadership. Most REAL conservatives (the intelligent ones) have come to the realization that the Bush Administration and his rubber-stamping allies in Congress don't really represent their interests or the best interests of the United States. They're as sick of Bush and his cronies as the Democrats.
But will this be enough to change the leadership in the House and Senate? Will it be enough to finally start asking hard questions of the Bush Administration? (As in, were we lied to about Iraq? How many laws have been broken regarding illegal domestic surveillance? What are Jack Abramoff's ties to the White House?)
Scream all you want about liberals, but it's the "conservatives" who are in power right now, and it's the majority of AMERICANS (liberals, conservatives, and independents alike) who are NOT happy with the direction of our country.

Why do you think that it is a good idea that the government interferes with your life, invades your privacy makes the world hate you and increases the danger of terrorism against america by declaring war on countries? And none of that nonsense about it NOT increasing terrorism - that is just simply not true. If America was invaded then you would defend it wouldn't you - even to the extent of "terrorist" actions.

I like to think they are the squeaky wheel in that they are NOT the majority but like to hem and ha and make a lot of noise in the media so that everyone will THINK they are the majority. I'm hoping the sane and aware Americans will prevail. :) God Bless the USA

I think you should change your name to "One Scared White Guy"
actually.. guy, Bush's approval ratings relating to the war and the economy are so low that even Arnold has just struck a deal setting a green house gas cap in his state, CA.. which by the way is the planets 12th largest producer of greenhouse emissions.. sources close to the Gov say he is trying to distance himself from the Bush admin in hopes of keeping his job ? .. what's Arnold know that the rest of you don't?
