it was her that did it beacause she left me and my brother with our dad

If you want a relationship with your mom you have to first remember not to hold a grudge with her because you don't know what was going on in her life that made her feel like that was the best decision she made for you and your brother. Listen to what she has to say because remember you were young and you probably would not have understood anyway. Last let her know the impact she left on you and your brother without being angry because anger will get you two nowhere.

Lovely two ages: Write her a nice letter of apology and ask her to forgive you. Send her some flowers if that is what she likes. Then arrange a meal for the two of you and have a good old fashioned woman to woman chat - about everything. The past will be immediately forgotten - I guarantee it.........

Start slow with low expectations. Schedule regular visits over a long time, so neither feels like you have to do it all at once.
