Saipan, it's only 10 miles long, the water is crystal clear and there are no Huge Resorts dotted all along the beach, it's very laid back and beautiful. The North part of the Island has alot if History and has the "Grotto" which is awesome, you can rent a motor scooter for $25 a day and check out the whole island.

So many terrific places. But I was probably happiest in a little cove south of Puerto Vallarta called Yelapa. It's an idyllic little beach and cove, surrounded by a luscious jungle. Cheap, clean, totally relaxing.

And I got to hike my paraglider up the hillside and spend my afternoons soaring the ocean breeze with the frigate birds and Macaw parrots. Then land on the beach and drink a cerveza. Not an intellectual travel experience- but certainly totally relaxing.

Windstar cruise on the Windsong in French Polynesia. It was so beautiful it was surreal. The ship had 120 passengers and 91 crew members. We went to Tahiti, Moorea, Huahine, Raitea and Bora Bora in a 7 day cruise. The service, food and ambience were exquisite and the islands were just untouched unspoiled grandeur. It was just my husband and myself and it was totally relaxing. Going from a super hectic lifestyle in the heighth of our working career and being without the kids for a week was pure Nirvana.

Victoria Falls in Africa (Zambia/Zimbabwe). Taking a microlight flight over the Victoria Falls is the most amazing thing in the world. I also did loads of other activities there such as abseiling, gorge-swing, flying fox, and jet boat ride. You can also go on safari to see all the wildlife.

Paris and I wouldn't have enough time or space to tell you why it was so amazing. SO you'll just have to go there and If you're female you'll have to take me. Been there twice and can't wait to go back and stuff myself with desserts and wine.
Take me with you and I'll even buy the wine and desserts. Hows that for a deal?
