Inequality has nothing to do with a person's importance or the world's requirement for their services.
Inequality has to to with ego, pride, greed, race, varying cultural standards and perhaps most importantly, false self importance.
You raise the question of karma and suppose that those who are wealthy and powerful must have led a 'better' past life than those 'poor' and in 'low' stations of life. This is a western misconception of karma.
It may well be that the 'poor' person lived a great karmic life but needs to further understand and gain more compassion for the fragile condition of life.
Karma is not reward and punishment. Karma is the continual perfecting of the soul.

I think the inequality will not disappear. But the lowest level of work will. In developed countries the lowest level of work is far more dignified than that of the underdeveloped countries and people from underdeveloped countries aspire to reach that level.
Imagine working 1 whole hour a day and only four days a week, and complaining about it because you are at the bottom of the hierarchy. That might be possible by the end of this century.

You want a world with no workers....only bosses?.....Than tell me....who would they lead? They might be smart and have lots of ideas and they might even have money , but they would need people to work for them , cause they couldn't do everything by themselves......you cannot grow chicken and pigs, potatoes and others vegetables, than prepare them in the restaurant, than serve them to the client, while you keep also all the evidence of your business........However, no one would work for you, cause they would all have great ideas of their own to take care of....So you see....the only for people to work in superior class...well paid jobs, it's if there are other, working in low class, not so well paid jobs.
The only un-equality that I do not agree with is that a man working 8 hours a day, as hard as he can as a worker, sometimes can't afford to eat more than a piece of bread, while others, doing things like playing football, singing songs, being on TV.....get more money than they could spend in a life time......that's just not fair

Not every person is important and required in this world
So there is so much un-equity.
Why are you smarter than I?
Why are you richer than I ?
IF I steal your money in my past karma, can I be equal with you?
IS flower beautiful?
If the world is full of flower without leaf, grass, will the world be beautiful?
Every body is playing his role.It depends on how we look at it.

There is not any tolerance to other lifestyles. People do not educate themselves on different cultures, lifestyles, etc. So many people think that being materialistic is the way to get by in life.

God has made every body equal in a way but we human being are ruining His arrangement. He has not told us to be a ruler or make someone your servant. it is a human being who does such nonsense only for their own comfort and desire. even animals follow the order of Bhagwan but we human beings deny the wish of Bhagwan and do as we please and it is one of the biggest reason of all our sorrow.

There is inequality because not every person believes that statement. Especially those at the top.

How about this...life is a cycle, sometimes you're on top, sometimes you're in the middle, sometimes you're on the bottom. I heard that from somewhere, whenever I find the book or movie I'll tell you the name.
