I wouldn't think so because it's mainly just Italy that speaks Italian, not to say citizens of other countries don't as well, but it's not a secondary language in any other country to my knowledge.

Truly, the only global language is English. Italian...no way.

English is global language.
Chinese is the language spoken by most of the people n the world.(coz the population of china is very high)
The next comes spanish.

no italian language is not a global language prevously some term which are used .but english is a universal language.
