Because he's a backup dancer who thinks he can rap. Apparently no one's told him that excepting Eminem, white guys just can't rap. Being married to the train wreck that is Britney Spears doesn't help either.

Because he thought it was a good idea to take Britney's advice to pursue a singing career. Who is she to talk? She should have just shut up after the first album. White trash doesn't work for anyone.

He thinks he has talent, he's not smart enough to realize that his wife has paid people to tell him he is talented. I have more talen then he does in my little toe.
I agree though it is funny to watch him make a fool of himself.
