let me "Break it down" for you. WWE is scripted yes. but only the outcomes and storylines are. theses guys and gals go out and get thrown around banged up bruised all over and people like Foley and Jeff Hardy actually get hurt. Hit with a chair the huge thud is real, yes they try to soften the blow by putting their hands up but look at the 1996 royal rumble (not quite sure if thats the real year or not) when the Rock fought Mankind. He had his hands cuffed behind his back and got the bejesus beat out of his skull and required like 50 stiches in his mellon. Hell just watch and of the old ECW matches with Sabu in it there is no way to fake someone jumping on you. these guy are constantly getting broken ribs and busted noses. there is far more injury in this Pseudeo sport than in any others. plus there is no off season for them to rest up. and they still go and perform with all ailments unlike anyother performer/athleate. so the injuries REAL, the pain REAL, the outcome is predetermined. and that is a cold hard FACT

All storylines are scripted. Although some of the moves are obviously fake some of the wrestling moves are real. How fake can jumping off a ladder onto somebody be? People still get hurt. It is a very dangerous sport. Look at the the injuries Kurt Angle had from 1 wrestling match. He had like 3 seperate injuries.

In other words, you have to be a real wrestler in order to be a fake one.

Yes wwe is scrioted, the wrestlers are most acting but there is element of truth to the storey lines, and on an overall yes wrstling is fake but story lines are based some facts and sometimes things get too carried away like Umaga spiking Kane, or when Evolution left Mick Foley in a pool of blood a few years ago, and that wasn't all totaly fake

No, it isn't fake. There is a lot of physicality and people can get injured - look at Kurt Angle, Chris Benoit and Batista. All have had serious injuries from wrestling. Hell, look at Darren Drozdov who was left in a wheelchair after a move went wrong. To say that it's all fake is an insult to these guys that put their bodies on the line for our entertainment.

It's not fake Daniel Bryan getting surgery for what Kane did yes its scripted but the moves/stunts are real even when they have broken bones and stuff like that they still go into action just look at Owen Hart when he fell to the ring that's the reslest it will ever get

Unfortunutely, WWE is fake. Wrestling was cool to watch back when they had the Monday Night War between WCW and WWF. The WWF Attitude era was the best with Stone Cold, Rock, Mankind, and the original D-Generation X.

alot of the people who have answered arnt looking at it from the wrestlers perspective. i have been to a couple of wrestling sessions in portsmouth and the next day my ankle was swollen completely, yet i didnt get a punch in the gut or anything. you cant call wrestling 'fake'. the falls they take do hurt, and, a prime example is mick foley, sometimes things go wrong. take the foley vs undertaker hell in the cell match in '97. foley was never meant to go through the cell and into the ring. they get hurt, and badly, but it is scripted and pre-determined
