Well, Voldemort HAS to die, otherwise what was the point of the series, right? But who knows if Harry will die. There's bound to be a major duel between the two of them at the end of the novel, but the question is will Harry die as well as Voldemort? And as far as if there will be a book #8, I don't think there will be, regardless if Harry lives or not.

I don't think Harry will die, because in every book, good people always win against bad people. And I dont think there's gonna be a Book 8, because J.K.Rowling wanted to only write about Harry's 7 school years in Hogwarts (although I doubt the 7th book is gonna take place in Hogwarts).

I really hope he doesn't, but of course none of us know for sure! I don't think he should. JK Rowling won't be writing anymore Harry Potter books after 7 even if he does survive, she's said that many times.

I am positive that Harry will not die. He is the main character of the series hence I don't think he should die. Book 7 will be last book as far as I know. I hope that in this last book Voldemort will die! Don't you?

I have read an interview of jk rowling and she said that harry will survive and there will prob be more books just not about harry, they will be like spin offs of others in the books.

I think that the last piece of Voldermort lives in Harry's scar, and in order to kill him, Harry must die...or he must choose to die. If you look at the story now, Harry no longer has an edge over Voldermort...not the protection of his mother's love, maybe only Ron and Hermione. But Ron and Hermione have to live on to tell the tale. Dumbledore is gone (which hurt when I read that).

I don't think he will die but its possible. And if he lives I hope that there will be another book after the 7th even though everyone says there won't.

She said this is her last book and another main character would die,so it would only make sense for Harry to die. :o( Then again she made Hermione after herself...so maybe its Hermione.

he won't die, he shouldn't die because he deserves the chance to have a good life, and there wasn't going to be another book after the 7th book whether he dies or not.

He will have to die because J.K. is done after 7. She wants nobody to continue on. I tried to keep this one a lot shorter.
