I work in front of a computer doing programming for up to 20 hours a day some times. I get up after a couple hours and stretch, get away from the computer and do something other than sitting and typing. I do this once every two hours, each time, doing a different activity.

I do this at the office, and when I work from home.

I've had no real physical problems by keeping to this routine. You make routine, stick to it, and you don't have problems with posture, eyesight, carpal-tunnel, etc.

But that's my opinion.

It can make you sick. You might have pblms with your eyesight and might need to wear glasses. It is better to look away from the monitor every 15 mins for about 20 secs

That is correct.

Too much games can cause eye problems and if you're using some sort of a game controller, and you really like this game, say Bloodrayne 2 (it's a beat em up game) and you keep pushing the buttons like crazy, pretty soon you wouldn't feel your thumb....

Playing 3D games can make you sick because your brain tells you that you are going in a direction that your body isn't going. It confuses it and makes you sick.

I suppose so...since you are inside and not outside. Plus, you aren't excercising...I should really get off this thing ;-)
