You need to find out from your agency what you are entitled to. Find out ASAP then you won't be stressing about it.

there is no maternity pay thru an agency. u better get a full time job with a company fast and dont tell them about u being pregnant and hope u will qualify for short term disability from the moment of being hired then tell them later on u just found out ur pregnant. cause atleast ul still be paid a portion of ur pay. maternity leave thru most companies is not paid leave.

You won't get any pay. Unless you have some form of Short Term Disability Insurance. Most companies do not PAY for maternity leave. If you are just on contract, no way you'd get paid anyhow.

if you are a permanent employee you are liable for maternity leave
you say your contract ends in december which is a bit iffy ?
go to bbc.co.uk and on the left side of the screen click on parenting then go to pregnancy - there is a section which explains maternity pay etc...
good luck

No where unfortunately that the risk you take joining and agency- you get paid alot of money but alot of the time that includes holiday pay- you dont get sick pay, you dont get maternaty pay- sorry!!
You should check with your agent though really.
