As long as they can do all of these things and still pay their bills, then they have the right to complain about the cost of living. Those who can barely make ends meet, who still complain after spending their money on all of the other frivilous stuff only make the cost of living a problem for themselves.
I have tenants who have an excuse as to why they can't pay their rent but they have every new DVD that came out over the last 4 months. They have a $350 a month cable bill because they have digital PVR in every room. On their home phone and cell phone they have call waiting, call forwarding, 3-way, 4-way and 10-way calling.. they go on vacation 4 times a year and get a new car every 18 months.

i can add more
people who depend on their parents for every little thing, including baby sitter, cell phone, school money (im talking about an adult of course)
people who free load from other people
they eat out every day and yet cant pay for baby sitter or anything else.
people who work and have a bf that works but they never have money when they dont pay for anything
i hate free loaders basically. and they shouldnt complain, but u know what, once they have some they want more.

I'll add one...
people who smoke now that the price of cigs is so high (I'm not knocking smoker...just the ones who complain endlessly and then go buy another pack)
People who buy beer or wine everyday
people who spend money on high speed internet
people who buy a big screen tv
people who buy cars they cannot afford
people who just keep having kids they can't afford
okay maybe six...I just couldn't help myself!
Blessed Be!

Gas way over priced becaue of a scare (possible storm, or middle east issue) instead of an actual incident.
Believe me, they dont have to be this high. So yeah people have the right to complain about corporations fattening their pockets at our expense. I dont care what else you buy, whether its satellite tv, cell phone or whatever. You still dont have to like the way they stick it to us.

No, they have no room to complain. They can sell their stuff on E bay if they get in the hole. Sounds like me, but I don't complain until I actually have to pay a bill!

No. However I think that they should complain about envious people who wish that they could afford to do those things.
