Just watching a documentary on the Hollywood Ten. As I was watching their rights get trampled on I thought - heck, they were terrorists! The Hollywood Ten spent a year in prison. We have citizens being held here for years...and no charges filed yet.

How is our current policy on terrorism different or similar than it was then?

Well, it's similar probably in the way that we still punish them the same or close to the same way we did back then. They are different because we are much more cautious now. After the WTC bombings in '93, the USS Cole, and especially 9/11, we are much more alert than we were 10-15 years ago. Just to show how cautious we are, we're still holding people without charging them with anything...just in case they may be terrorists, I guess.

what is with all you stupid liberals? why do you want these terrorists to have all these special rights? were at war with them. what about the rights of the people they are trying to kill. i think there are a few liberals that died in 9/11 that i would bet money, would have a different out look on the war and the president if they survived. you liberals don't care about the terrorists, you just hate bush. you don't even care about your fellow American, if you did you would want these terrorists dead.
