What do you think is the whole point of this? Crushing stereotypes/biases?

Survivor is an okay thing to be segregated because it will prove people wrong about sertain groups being weaker. I actually think that it is kinda cool!

I guess they can do whatever they want.
I don't think it's good or bad, it just is what it is and we'll forget about it in time.
I don't even watch the show but how many friends who can't miss it. They haven't said much about it.

The 20 players will initially be divided into four groups based on their ethnicity -- Hispanic, African-American, Asian-American and Caucasian. The tribes will merge at some point later in the game.

How 'bout the boys against the girls?
How 'bout the old against the young?
How 'bout the east against the west?
How 'bout the rich against the poor?

Who really cares, it's all just a game.

They're trying to get attention. Unfortunately, race is not yet considered a neutral trait in this society; I think it'll cause more strain, not only on the show but in offices and such. They could have just had racial diversity.
