The creative vision is the best and here is why
1.CES award for best device for 2006,red dot design award 2006,cnet editors choice award
2. 265000 color videoscreen as opposed to 65000 for the ipod
3. works with all music subscription services,mtv-urge,yahoo music,napster,rhapsody,puretracks,etc,
ipod only works with itunes
4. battery life is amazing 4.5 hours for video as oppossed to 2 hours for ipod
5. can read 8 different video formats, divx,4,5,xvid,mpeg1,2,4,wmv,compression jpeg(converters for these formats are freely availble .ipod reads only 2,mp4 and mov which needs the 65 dollar conversion program from apple to convert video.
6.ipods have drm locks
7. ipods are prone to scratches and battery failures within the first 1 year.
8.the vision has a built in fm radio with 32 presets and voice recorder(10) hours-these optional extras on the ipod
9. creative vision has the best sound quality 97 db sn ratio while the ipod is only 79
10. 5 band custom sound equalizer on the vision, not available on ipod
11. the vision has 6 themes and an option to customize the screen with "wallpaper" images- not available on ipod.
12. itunes software are reported to have spyware and can cuases some computer system crashs-install at your own risk

such as cinema now, and the new 20th century fox moive service coming soon- ipods and itunes still have not secured a deal with the moive companies yet, they just have music videos and some tv shows.
People really buy the ipod becuase they don't know any better, the vision is an amazing device and microsoft,creative and cowan are coming out with better products this year as well.
If you want a fashion statement buy the ipod but if you want
a great audio/video player go with the vision

OMFG GOD POEPLE!!!!!!!!!!! stop wioth the ipod crap its serisly ******* annoying! ipods are crap if you all did a little more researhc oyu would know that your getting ripped off ! i mean the creative zen vision m offers everything the ipod doesplus more at the same price! better screen sound quality better everything. i mean 4 hours of veideo play time the ipod only offers two! WTF>>>??? not even enough to watch a full length movie. jeeze pleasedont listen to those ipod freaks the creative zen will totaly be better please just listen to me they all think the ipods better becuase they want to fit in with society "if you dont get an ipod your not cool" WTF?? CRAp i tell you please just get th ezen if you dont liek it just return it for the ipod... i double youl return it but hey i wont hurt at all. god it irrates me how ipod zombiesa think its better. DO RESEARCH PEOPLE ITS THE KEY!!!!!!!!

definately ipod. everything from cars to houses are more compatible with eachother
