When I set up a Karaoke system in my taxi, it will be broadcast using a wireless broadband to a web site. I would like to have two cameras, one facing forward out the windshield, and the other facing the passengers. I want to be able to switch between them, so that when I have a passenger not wanting to participate, than I can still be sending out images of my forward motion. I would need a device that would continue to send the computer a signal to the computer while switching from one camera to another. Any suggestions.

I only have one USB port available for use. The other two are used by the GPS receiver and the external harddrive where I store the 3000+ music videos.

yeah set up two different webcam programs. one for each. and record both at the same time and then cut what you want and what you dont want to fit it

get a 4 port usb hub
and plug them in...r they the same???
WinXP has no problem processing video from two Web cams. You can even run Yahoo! Messenger in one window and MSN Messenger in another using two video feeds. However, the two Web cams must be different brands. If you try to use two cams of the same kind, the drivers will conflict.

if your computer has at least 2 USB ports, then you can plug both cameras into the computer. Wheres your site BTW?

It is theoretically possible if you have 2 USB ports free.
I hope these two webcams dont create a conflict.
