Because she wasn't good enough to be with him,shes a shoplifting nut of a woman .And not pretty at all She was beneath him as a star. Can you tell I don't like her or her "acting" and I'm not that crazy about JD but he could do so much better than WR

Because she was just 17-18 and Johnny was 21-22. If they were a normal couple, they would still have the same problem. The maturity level of the girl is not the same as the guy. But he was a sex symbol of Hollywood once. So it was harder for her.

They were the 2 biggest stars at the time. They were on the same path at the same time so it was easy for them to be together. Then their lives split and went down different paths, both towards stardom, but still on different paths. They made a cute couple back in the day.
