Is it okay to swish your mouth with listerine while your pregnant. I do every morning, I just hope that its not hurting anything=)

While i was pregnant i always used listerine too, my baby turned out fine, just make sure not to swallow it, and after i would get done swishing i would also swish with water after making sure i didnt swallow any. Also drink a lot of milk, thats where i went wrong, i didnt drink enough milk and my baby just took all the calcium from my body, leaving my teeth all sore and decayed. I used to have really nice teeth before i was pregnant.

ooh. good question, dear. i really don't know about that.
'Cause even if you *think* you're spitting it all out, you're always swallowing a little mouthwash.
And since the Listerine brand is a pretty strong, alcohol-based product, I think if I were you I would just phone the pharmacist real quick before swishing my mouth again.

You're not DRINKING the listerine. You should be just fine. I always used it, and my 3 kids are just fine.

yeah! i never even thought about this...i use listerine every day, too:)
i've heard about how bad pregnancy can be on your teeth, so i'm just trying to be good to my pearly whites!

listerine should be perfectly okay. your doing a good thing. pregnancy can be hard on your teeth.

for some reason it made me feel really sick and i didnt swollow it. Im 35 weeks along. But it is safe, and keep gargling, its good to take care of your teeth while pregnant=)

if you swallow it it could be harmful, but also applies if you weren't pregnant...so don't worry...keep those teeth nice and clean! And Congratulations and good luck with he baby! :)

as long as your baby isnt swilling its mouth too then u will be fine !
