Noah was on his ark for 40 days and 40 nights with all of the animals who came in 2 by 2 (hoorah hoorah). So what did he eat? If he had eaten one of them, then we wouldn't still have them on Earth today........

Or is that where the dinosaurs and the dodo's disappeared to?!!

Yes, Noah was a vegetarian -- in fact, everyone was until after the Flood. After the Flood God instructed Noah,
"The fear and dread of you will fall upon all the beasts of the earth and all the birds of the air, upon every creature that moves along the ground, and upon all the fish of the sea; they are given into your hands. Everything that lives and moves will be food for you. Just as I gave you the green plants, I now give you everything. But you must not eat meat that has its lifeblood still in it." (Genesis 9:2-4)

He was a vegetarian. It was after the flood that God told him that it was okay to eat meat.

Genesis 9:3 Everything that lives and moves will be food for you. Just as I gave you the green plants, I now give you everything.

Go back and re-read the story. There were 7 pairs of all the "clean" animals, not just one pair. A couple of cattle would hardly have been missed.
