Messenger, cause, if it was set for keyboard, most users would never be idle.. LOL

it means keyboard and mouse.
if you don't move mouse and don't use keyboard for a while , an idle mark will shown in your id.
when i minimize my yahoo , and doesnt use it , not idle will shown , but when don't use computer , it will shown.
