It is best to get the blessings from your parents.
Marriage is a serious commitment and it affects the lives of many others beside the couple. Even though the couple is the party that makes the key decision, the relationship should be an added blessings to parents, family, relatives and friends. Your circle of loved ones are also in a position to advise you as some of them had gone before you and have good experiences that you can draw on.

Well if you love the person and thats who u know for sure wont mind spending the rest of their life with you then go ahead. your parents are not the ones who have to be with him you do. Im 16 and my botfriend has proposed to me already so technically im Engaged but my parents will do almost anything to break our connection but we refuse to let them we will do any and everything to be together so in my opinion getting married against your parents is not wrong

You are not marrying the family, you are marrying him or her. You know yourself better than anyone, and if you are sure that this is the person you want to be with, than that should be enough. However if your family takes precedence over your significant other, than marriage is not the way to go. There should be NO doubt in your mind. If there is, than do not marry yet. Wait until you are sure!

It may not be right....but it certainly isn't WRONG.
And how many young people have to marry against their wills, because of their parents' wishes?
Good luck.

Well, it would be nice to have their blessing but you can't live your life for everyone else. Be happy - just don't regret your decision.
