politicians???

Question

Why do I despise all politicians, am I alone?
Comments for and against are welcome.

Politicians are the servants of the people. What you must mean is, (I despise the party system)
We all know that when a person is a member of a party
(they have to put the Party first)
and the people out of mind until the next elections.

Therefore the people know their (Polly's) tell us lies all the time.

They themselves are told what to do and how to do it.
By someone that is not elected
He may in fact be in another country like Bush he tells John Howard what to do and how far to jump.

The best lie is that (we can not elect Independents,) because they can not run a government if they vote in the house
without a majority. There is not enough of then to make a difference.

That is the fault of people like you that do not put it to the parties.
show them that Lies do not get them elected.

It is put to you and others that can still vote before that too is taken away by the parties.

You are certanly not alone, but I think politicians are like any other group of people - you get all kinds. I have to admit that politicians seem to be more prone to corruption and arrogance than other groups, though.

I think distrust would be a better description of how I feel toward politicians, I feel like I am sold out for small amounts of money.

the problem with politicians is they are self- perpetrating. we couldn't legislate them out of office if we wantd to.
