I watched the worse movie calledTalladega Nights and thought about this. It's an election year and this movie comes out.

It's about a nascar driver (nascar fans are mostly republican rednecks - don't mean to offend but that is just a fact) and guess who they have opposing him as a new driver? A gay man from France.

Adding it up:
French - one of the #1 things republicans hate
Gay - another main thing republicans hate
Nascar - one of the #1 things republicans love

It had stuff like his dad drinking a 40 in a paper bag. If you are redneck and from the south then you know that is normal.

I'll never watch another Will Ferrell movie.

Absolutely

I noticed this the most in 2004 when Passion of Christ came out just before that election. That movie seemed to have the affect of really firing up the religious base. Of course we all know now that Rove was using the divide into small groups, appeal to them then conquer their opposers.. method.

Pay close attention to some of your local television movies on network tv. Mine have been playing movies like Pearl Harbor....lol no kidding.

Kinda ironic dont you think that all of sudden there is a movie about the world trade center bombing in theaters.

Btw, sure democrats do this too like M.Moore; but, the difference is we don't lie about it. We will come right out and tell you that we are making a movie to get you to think about what is really going on. IEs, F.911 and An Inconvenient Truth.

Republicans continue to insult the American intellect by thinking they can continue these underhanded/dishonest methods of manipulation without us eventually noticing.

FYI, it is a complete myth that the media is contolled by liberals. Proving this is very simple. All you have to do is watch any national news channel and ask yourself, "who's agenda did I just hear about... war on terror, immigration, gay marriage, etc.." That is the rightwing's agenda. The left's agenda is heathcare, jobs, outsourcing, the environment, etc.. Notice how you never hear those things debated as hot topics. What does that tell you? = liberals do NOT control the media.

Because McCain is not a republican! He is a liberal leaning toward democrate! They are voting for the lesser of the three evil. What they dont understand is that voting for a democrate is not the answer. I love Obama, I do, but I CANT vote for him because he is democrate. All hell will break loose and I will have to really take care of people who dont work as hard as I do. When we have a republican in the seat, they try to get things passed for the people that work for what they got, but they have democratic groups like the ACLU and the NAACP that veto those because it is "inhumane" to make welfare recipients work or clean up trash on the sides of the road to gain some dignity, but at least they create a check and balance for our whole government becoming that like minded. Put a democrate in the seat and our whole government will become like that! The fact of the matter is though, we do NOT have a republican to vote for...... :(

The Bush administration should use Farenheit 9/11 in all their ads and rallys across the U.S. That would be brilliant... but, I'm sure they could twist it around to seem they would be admitting wrong doing and get sympathy votes, the U.S. is very gullable (see: war in Iraq, 2000 election, 2004 election, etc.).

Actually, Hollywood is vastly liberal including their movies. Most Nascar fans may be Republican, but the majority of Republicans are not Nascar fans. Still, we wouldn't want the real facts to mess with your mind. I'm sure Will Ferrell's career will survive.

Hollyweird has been shoving their left wing agenda down our throats for years. Most of it is crap and is getting worse by the day. Most of what they put out is predictable and written my school children. I find better things to do with my time, than to make millionaires out of morons.

By the way, I'm a republican and hate Nascar.
