a sewer roach

sounds more like a termite than a roach...especially if it resembles an ant... i lived in phoenix in 1969 and was told that the reason people built cement block fences instead of wood was because of termites, a lot of houses are stucco also i assume for the same reason..i would check under the house or call an exterminator...if you still have the bug to show him it would help...good luck

I would take the insect to the local university science department. Ask their opinion, I'm sure they would know. They might even be able to help with a remedy for getting rid of them - and there are THEM to get rid of! An exterminator will tell you almost anything b/c he'll be looking for a job!

Looks like a roach. Findout where the roach coach are located and make sure the area is dry too.
