Before I had my son and my monthlys were regular around about 14 days into my cycle I used to get a little pain like a stitch when your running on either the right or left side it only lasted for a short while sometimes I could swear I could almost feel the egg break free from the ovary by having a sensation like popping.

Sometimes, when the egg is released from the ovary, there can be slight pain. Some women may be able to feel it and know which side it comes from.

Yes I believe it is, because my ovaries sometimes used to hurt when it was that time of month. And it was on one side or the other. It is a deep sharp pain at time . I would listen to her if I were you. We women know our bodies, unlike the male species. LOL

Yes ... some women (though not most) experience pressure or pain on the side of ovulation; some even feel a slight "twinge" when the egg is released.

Yes, it's possible. I get a cramp every time an egg is released, so I know which side I'm ovulating on, too.

Yep. I can do it too. When I'm ovulating I can feel uncomfortable contractions on only one side and it changes sides each month. It feels like some plunger on the inside of your body. I can only guess that this is what she is talking about.

Have her checked by a doctor for PCOs - Polycystic Ovaries - because if ovulation is painful enough to be felt, she may need medical attention.
