An even better question is: If the Tigers play the Yankees in the playoffs, how fast will Kenny Rogers wilt under the bright lights of Yankee Stadium?

Georgie Porgie....where are you? what's wrong with your Tigers
They are going down......Chicago white sox will take the lead soon.....so watch that happen and shut your mouth.....
To that no brain Red sox girl:
Your Red Sox team is NOT going to make the playoff, and you should just cry about that for the next 3 months.
To that mets fan, we will see the Yankees sweep the Mets in the playoff...we will see that happen.....
To Fabio, Yankee will win ALL THE WAY this year, so these Boston, Detroit, and Mets fans will cry for six months before the new season starts...
Go Yankees!!!

i'm fairly nervous. this can be the final time I see the Yankees play this twelve months. Or this is a extensive night the place issues turn interior the Yankees desire. i be responsive to Burnett's pitching, yet I could desire to have self belief. Has he earned it? not likely, yet there is little need going right into a interest looking forward to the greater serious. with a bit of luck AJ pitches his coronary heart out this night. i think of this is going to likely be a sturdy interest the two way, the Tigers are an extremely difficult group. BQ: My coronary heart says the Yankees, however the Tigers surely have a extensive danger of triumphing.

At this point, Detroit fans need any sense of confidence they can get. No one knows for sure just how well the young Tigers will fair in the playoffs (assuming they do make it). All anyone has to go on is how well they've played in the face of adversity this season.

If there was a cap in baseball, the Yankees wouldnt be the best because they wouldnt have Giambi, Sheffield, Rodriguez, Damon, Matsui or Johnson.
The Tigers fans are just cheering now because the White Sox are going to win that division and they're getting their cheers out before its too late.

why are you saying "you don't play under .500 teams in the plaoffs"? is that directed at the tigers? the tigers have the second best record in the majors.

The Yanks are the best team EVER in baseball. I've heard it all about buying their team and all that garbage. Any team that had that much money would do the exact same thing!!! Put a cap on baseball and the yankess would still be the best by far.

They need something to cheer about because they probably won't be winning their division. I can only hope that they make it as the wildcard so the Yanks can spank them in the first round.
