If we all had to vote compulsary for WARmonger Blair!!! - Do you think we would be compassionate towards our fellow beings? Nine years in power, Five wars later,Hundreds of thousands dead, millions displaced, sounds like a good option to me!. He's spread so much hatred around the globe that its infesting our way of life. Maybe a civil war between us and them could stop the disease...

Nice idea but I doubt it. I for one would oppose it and I am very far from being a conservative. In fact I loathe everything the Conservative Party stands for. As for American conservatives... they really are beyond the Pale. Nevertheless, any curtailment of democratic rights is detrimental to us all. We should be seeking ways to extend democracy not to diminish it.

If all the conservatives did lose their right to vote then how would we EVER elect another President? Everyone knows Liberals don't vote :) they can't ban together long enough to go to the polls.......even with all the Vote or Die campaigns and even with a (their liberal words_ "War Monger" is in office and they want him gone.

Give me a break, my brain isn't warmed up yet! I've only just got back from being tortured by a vindictive physio!
Anyway, you are the political brains of this particular pair, so I will wait to hear your views on the subject (it will have to be a starry night, on a hill somewhere and if we are going to discuss politics, there had better be lashings of beer...)

Well lets see, no. The liberlas and the Democratic party has enough going on in their own ranks that the system would fail utterly. Having opposing views is what makes Democracy work. One sided welfare state supporting ideology is what causes its failure.

Yeah, the same way the USSR and China did when conservatives lost their voices there. Think about it: Liberal leaders in history included Stalin, Hitler, Mussilini, and now Castro and Chavez. Besides, when has society ever been completely peaceful?

No, but if every one with an IQ of less than 100 was not allowed to vote we might see an improvement.

And what kind of facist are you that you would want to stop anyone voting? I've never voted Conservative (Plaid Cymru gets my x) but I'm very proud to live in a democracy.
