IYou can have an abnormal period from time to time. If it continues, you may want to look into the pill. It will regulate you and you know exactly when it will come next.

You should talk to the doctor, and maybe go onto birth control (assuming you aren't trying to get pregnant). Birth control can help regulate your periods so that doesn't happen. I was bleeding 2-3 weeks every month, so I went and was put on birth control. There was nothing wrong with me, that was just my norm for having periods. It was aweful. Sometimes when you have sex, you get little tears inside, and I think that is what was causing the light pink a little. That sounds normal too. Your best bet is to talk to your doctor and see what s/he thinks about putting you on b.c if this becomes more common for you. Hope this helps.

There is alot of situations that could cause an abnormal period. I know for myself, that I am certainly not regular all the time. Sometimes I am late, or early, or the period itself just seems different. You need to do a mental note of anything that might have changed in your routine, stress level, new medicines, etc. I believe that if you are concerned then it couldn't hurt to make an appt. with your ob. Check out this website, and it might help. Most of all don't stress yourself out, because this could futher your schedule being off. Just make an appt to double check that all is good. Good luck!

First off, Madison you don't give your age here. I assume you're not starting through menopause. Maybe you're PREGNANT! It happens to the best of us and sometimes we even want to be. I was there twice and now have two great sons probably about your age. As I recall all kinds of crazy things happened with my period when first I conceived. You might want to go to visit your Ob-Gyn. If you aren't pregnant, don't want to be pregnant and are having regular intercourse, perhaps you should take the pill. It will regulate your period and prevent pregnancy.

Are you, or were you on birth control? If you have taken birth control before and stopped, it can take months for it to get out of your system. When it eventually does, your periods will probably be irregular (such as you described earlier).

By all means, I am not a doctor, but you may want to give it a week to see if everything clears up. It's also always safe to see your doctor. I hope this helps.
