I believe there are a few that wait but not many. Now-a-day, marraige isn't secure anymore. I had a friend who married a guy and she was virgin...Maybe 9 months later he was ready to get a divorce and he said he had the best of her already and it was time to move on. Having pre-marital sex is the same as having marital sex in my opinion. Plus those people who probably made the rules about sex probably didn't even remain true to their words...So who cares...just make sure its a decision that you can live with... with ya dig?

I should think there are very very few people like that. The fact is they don't have much of a motive to wait 'till marrige. A religious man will wait because he believes it's God's will. But what would someone else have to wait? Nothing really.

I think virtually always, outside of religious people, if someone can find someone they're sexually attracted to, and is able to get them into bed, they will have sex with them. It's just accepted as part of the general culture. I think most of the time when non-religious people don't have sex, it's involuntary. Every person I can think of who abstains voluntarily is involved in religion.

It's much more common in America than in the UK because the govt has launched a massive campaign to promote abstinence.

I know 2 people that waited until they were married, but they didn't wait long... both married their first ever boyfriends, at very young ages.

There are a few people that do not have sex before marriage. My brother is 24 and has made that decision for himself.

It depends where you are on part of the earth. I lost my virginity at 9 with my teenager friend. I know many who have had it before marriage. But lets hear from those who have not had it before.

It doesn't bother me, but I do admit that there are very few people who marry as virgins now a days. That includes members of both sexes.

There are people that still believe sex before marriage is a sin. It happens more often than people think.
