I remember the white dot and no remote. I do slightly remember hearing shows on the radio at my Grandparents house when I was very small. I don't know what ITV or radio rentals are. I'm 54.

I remember not having a remote control.
And Radio Rentals - we have a TV that was from there and it still works (yes, we purchased it rather than rent).
I can remember when a man being gay was considered a dreadful thing (I'm glad times have changed mostly for the better in that respect) - I remember the hoo-ha when the Evening Standard had a big headline about Boy George being gay.

Yes to the no-remote & the dot. Did a newscaster really wear gloves & gown?! I had to laugh about the Boy George being gay shocker. Like...who could tell?
I'm a man without conviction
I'm a man who doesnt know
How to settle the contradiction....

I remember only having ABC, CBS, NBC and a local channel. They went off the air after the tonight show and didn't come back on until 5 or 6 am....That was the day....
I forgot PBS, back then it was terrible

I remember our TV had a coin slot meter to pay the rent on it. Always ran out in the exciting bit on Scooby Doo and I had to wait for my mum to come home and put more money in!

I remember them playing the national anthem when they went off the air. I don't remember any of the above though. I was born in 1976. =)
