A sensible and balanced diet, including fresh fruit, vegetables, legumes, pulses, whole grains (not refined white bread), avoiding heart-clogging saturated and transfats, limiting refined sugar, the right kinds of protein and carbohydrate, and regular, daily exercise, even if it is nothing more than walking or perhaps swimming. I would second the recommendation for proper sleep--eight hours a day. A cheerful temperament and helpfulness toward others. Intellectual curiosity--reading new books, both classical and contemporary. Cultivating a variety of interests, depending on your taste--friends, conversation (with or without wine), museums, concerts, drives into the country, travelling to new places, seeing new sights, periods of relaxation. Both the mind and the body need renewal. Chronological age is a matter of the clock and the calendar: they move regardless of us. But biological age depends on what we do and don't do. Thus one person is 60 and looks 40, and another is 35 and looks 60. Some people think plastic surgery will do it but most of the time one can tell the difference between aging which has been slowed down naturally and years peeled off artificially. Hope you are a year younger 12 months from now.

Actually home remedy is not the best answer... remember you should not sacrifice the value of taking good care of your skin ... I would say to avoid products formulatted with animal products... these come from rendering plants and these plants pick all dead animals from the roads, meatmarkets, etc, and what they do is put them in a huge pot, squash everything inside, boil it and the oil that comes to the top is what most companies use to formulate their "beauty" products.... gross i know .... and also avoid using products formulatted with mineral oil, for example, petrolatum.... this is the 2nd worse thing we could do to our skin ... it is like rubbing car oil on your skin and then exposing yourself to the sun.... 90% of the lines come from the sun and the other 10% come from mineral oil.... so avoid these and use only botanical products ... i would recommend the line i have been using for quite a while and i simply love the results... they are called arbonne and they are not sold in stores but i go to their web site: http://arbonnepuertorico.myarbonne.com and buy them during my free time at wahtever time i want.... and i started using these products through samples I just asked for some samples and then i fell in love with them .....And there is nothing to loose, they are so convinced we would like the products and the results that they back it up with a 45 day money back guarantee.... i remember once i bought something from a cosmetic counter and it gave me an allergy and when i went back to the counter the lady said, sorry we can not accept used products ... that was something i liked from arbonne ... nothing gave me an allergy because they are botanically based and formulatted without fragrances, without dyes, without alcohol, and without the mineral oils and without the animal products ... anyway, try them if you wish, write and i think they are still giving samples for free....Too much info but honestly as you could see i am very happy with their products .....

Sleep early, wake up early, and smile.
People that do this often look really nice when they age.
