We are doing everything we can to destroy our own world. By focusing on trivial matters such as Britney Spears' love life or Christie Brinkley's cheating husband, we afford ourselves a lot less time for things that really matter. Like saving the environment; protecting the delicate ecological balance between man, plants and animals; and eliminating corrupt polticians from our cesspool of a political system.
Like lobsters languishing in a pot of lukewarm water, we won't start screaming until the water begins to boil. We're all just "too comfortable" right now, and so our apathy continues to over ride our concerns for the betterment of our planet's future and the moral improvement of our decadent republic. -RKO-
