Not one to toot your own horn, eh!
Why stop there? Are people with high I.Q.s allowed to shoplift, participate in armed robbery, commit murder because they're bored. If it's wrong, it's wrong ESPECIALLY if you are smart enough to know better.

If you have such a high IQ you should be able to answer this yourself AND be able to spell one sentence correctly.
Allowing yourself to be lazy and brain-deprived because you are smart...let's see.....how about NO? It leads to depression, anxiety and you should already know that.
If you have so much time on your hands, get some goals and projects together (to cure the world of whatever), get a hobby that could make you millions, do sport to enhance the body that is attached to the brain, interact with women to find a gf for love, empathy and pleasure. Study boredom and why it happens and how it can be prevented or re-directed.
Wasting your brain doing dumb things is what stupid people do...not people of high IQ. Late teens frontal lobes are still in the growth stage, so unusual or thoughtless behaviour can be expected. See if there is a way to change that, so that parents all over the world can breathe a sigh of relief.
All the geniuses of the past have answered/tested all forms of narcotics...so you wouldnt be adding anything to the mix to indulge....just repeating the same explorations and getting the same results. You need to think more, outside the square.....not less.

If your I.Q. is "really high," then why is your question unclear and improperly worded? O.K., I'm sorry, but I could not resist!
However, that being said, I believe that the I.Q. test is a severly limited measurement of the human brain's potentials. It lacks the ability to measure key characteristics of human intelligence, such as creativity. Also, a great deal of intelligence is hereditary, as seen in many big cities across the United States.

Usually people "get high" when they have numerous problems unresolved. It doesn't really matter whether u have high I.Q.'s, or low I.Q.'s, since human are the only species in this earth 2 be able to get high.If u have really high I.Q.'s, i am sure u would know whats good 4 u and not.Anyway u might have typed this questions since u are bored. Or.. .. maybe u have already gone "high" try 2 understand this sentence- allowed to get high because were bored?

What do you mean allowed to get high. Like others said before if you have such a high IQ you should be able to answer this question yourself. Sure you can get high but is it worth it? I think that is the question you should ask yourself.

I'll take this seriously, I have a 149, not too bad, I don't use drugs in a recreational manner, in large part because I refuse to do anything that will harm my mind. (I stick to other stupid things like Mountain climbing, Scuba diving and Poker, but I digress.) Intelligence does not in any way relate to wisdom.
One of the wisest people I've ever met did not have any real education, or what too many people consider "intelligence." Likewise, a high intelligence quotient is only a sign you are well socialized within the structure of the test, not that you have any particular intelligence.
Drug use is a method to escape. Try climbing a mountain, now that's a high worth the effort.
I have a doctorate, which simply means if you throw enough information at a blank wall, somethings bound to stick...
Another excellent sign of intelligence is the ability to laugh at yourself and never take ones self too seriously.

Fix your sentence structure, grammar and spelling errors...it will do much to bolster your statement regarding possesion of a "high IQ"...
Before making such a claim, one must provide referential evidence to the fact...is your IQ based on a Stanford-Binet? Standardized Weschler? or the CAT tests that are so routinely administered in middle schools...precisely how did you glean the idea that you were indeed possessed of a "high IQ" ?
To the larger point, smoking pot or taking any mind altering substance is a personal choice...therefore the reasons for doing so are as varied as the individual. I myself have smoked in the past for the sheer enjoyment of the way THC affects my mindset...relaxation, amusement, random thoughts and flights of fancy...not to mention the weird music one writes while under the influence...(if you're musically inclined) However, one shouldn't look to any drug to escape the reality of their current existence...If you're unhappy with your routines, alter them...do something new...join a group with similar interests...not sure what you're interested in? Cruise through your local Barnes and Noble...if a particular subject tends to recurrently catch your eye...perhaps that is something which you might feel a keen interest in exploring...
Drugs can be fun (boy, how p.c. is that?)....but at the end of the day...they will rob you of your ambition if you come to rely on them as your only source of distraction or entertainment...that applies to alcohol as well...the most deadly and least user friendly drug of them all.
Intelligence is a blessing...and sometimes a curse....how you deal with it is the true measure of your gifts...

I.Q. has nothing to do with it. Dumb people get bored too. Find a hobby? If you want your hobby to be getting high, then go for it. But in 30 years if your a bum on the side of the road then it sucks for you. You wont be getting laid then, and everyone knows getting laid is much better than getting high. OooooOOOoo or both at the same time! Multitasking is fun...

If your IQ is really as high as you believe it is, then shouldn't you be using proper grammar at least? Wouldn't it be " Are people who have...".
And No, you are not allowed to get high... it's against the law. Someone with a below average IQ knows that... think about where that makes people think YOU stand.

What do you consider a "high IQ"? Like 80? Because only a person in that range would ask a question like that!

Actually a lot of very intelligent people have been known to light up... One scientist would get high and do long math equations in the steam on his shower wall...
