seek a therapist. You're not going to get sound advice from Yahoo answers. This is not the place to come to get off drugs!!

I have a friend who is a doctor, and he volunteers occasionally to help get people off their heroin addiction. It involves a hospital stay, and blood transfusions. If I remember it correctly, the patient goes to sleep and then the transfusions and procedure is administered. When the patient awakes, he's in a weakened condition, but the physical addiction is cured. I'm sure that its followed up by counselling. I wish you the very best and remember this: We all have our struggles and our addictions, so don't get down on yourself. The important thing is that you want to get out of this mess, and you're figuring out how to do it. When you're ready, you will. Good luck.

Take a massive dose of LSD. Seriously. It will alter your perception of reality and you won't want heroin anymore. Don't go the methadone route, what have you accomplished to transfer your addiction to another substance? Then after you come back down for a landing after the LSD find something constructive and interesting to you personally to do instead of taking drugs. Choose life...I know that is a trite saying but it's true.

Yeah, I am totally addicted and I really need to get clean. I had Amelia Earhart round the house the other day and I could not keep my hands off her. Whenever I see pictures of Mother Teresa I feel the same way. How will I ever get off these heroines?

There is no best way, the best way is to never start.
You are dependent on opiates. Certain receptors in your brain react wildly to opiates, and you have become dependent.

I recently helped a friend get through this, it was hard to watch, and I hadn't talk to him in a long long time - but we were once good friends and I guess he felt like he could depend on me. So we found a doctor who specialized in a certain therapy using a drug called Suboxone. It's not like anything I ever wanted to see, but it works.

Getting a Doctors appointment and ask him/her to refer you onto a local programme or to a detox unit. Another thing...it would be beneficial for you to get out of your present environment!!

If you're in the UK...go onto the Talk to Frank website!!

Good luck!!

Go see a doctor and have them put you in rehab.. This is a very dangerous drug and it really messes with your organs of you body..
Once you are out of rehab make a total life change and do everything in your power to keep away from this drug and anyone who has access to it.. I would move or even loose my family if needed to keep clean..
Good luck..

Lock your self in a room with many good friends blocking the door for one week
Then don't associate with the people that got you hooked on the stuff in the first place.

Stop feeling sorry for yourself and just stop taking that rubbish, stop trying to be the centre of attention and start taking responsibility for the fact that it is YOU who is putting that boring rubbish into yourself.

If you really WANTED off it you would already BE off it, so why ask any of us???

You just want attention, like every other junky.
