When you're ovulating

Everyone who has said '14 days after the 1st day of your period' is technically wrong.

The best time to conceive is before you ovulate (release an egg), and most women ovulate about 14 days BEFORE their next period starts.

For example, I have a 32 day cycle and I ovulate on about CD18 or CD19 (CD=cycle day).

This gets tricky because we don't know exactly when our period is going to start.

Women are less likely of getting pregnant if they only have sex on the day they ovulate, as the egg is only be capable of being fertilised for 18-48 hours after ovulation.

A lot of women don't realise all of this, there are a LOT of misconceptions about getting pregant, and it doesn't help because it's all a little confusing, but luckily some clever people have come up with ovulation calculators to help, so perhaps this might be useful to you...

I hope that everything goes well for you, and that you're blessed very soon. Wishing you lots of luck!

12 to 14 days counting from the first day of your period. So if you had a period that started the September 1st.You count the 1st,2nd etc.So September 12 to the 14th is the best time to get pregnant. Also when you are financially stable and are with the right person you love to have a baby.It is a lot of responsibility and if you are young why not grow as a person first before you are ready raise your own.

The best time to get pregnant is when you are ready for it mentally as well as physically.Make sure you are ready for the changes that pregnancy & after delivery your baby is going to bring in your life. It is the best gift a woman can have, but you have to be prepared for it.It is very imp. that both of you agree for this, & also be prepared for the expenses.
As i said before, a child is a best gift that we can have, but its also a great deal of responsibillity & hard work. So be prepared for it mentally, phisically, financially; & that is the best time to get pregnant.

when you are in a stable relationship and have money in the bank... and you are mature enough to handle the responsibility of being a parent. :)

As for *HOW* to get pregnant, the best time is when you are ovulating, about two weeks after the first day of your last period. (everyone is different) Keep practicing and don't worry about it. When it happens, it happens.

I think you can never really fully prepare to become a parent, but if your almost ready then start trying and by the time baby's due you'll be ready, believe me.

When you and your husband feel emotionally secure to handle a child. Also think about if you can afford a baby. To raise a kid nowadays is VERY expensive.
