I was 19 days late for my period last month and so far I am 11 days late this month. I am 46 years old and soooooo confused. Is being late 19 days considered a missed period or am I just out of whack?

Go to the doctor and find out. I would think that yes you are starting menopause, but its destined to happen. Good Luck To You

Lateness is not the criterion. But your age is ripe for menopause.
If you experience mental confusion, bitchy emotional states, and hot flashes, that would be your set of signs, that your eggs are depleted and your body won't be the same anymore.
One friend of mind described it for me. I interpret it as if like you will be going through puberty again, but BACKWARDS this time.
However, you won't end up being a child again. Beyond that, I do not have any idea.

sounds like you're out of whack and beginning menopause. My sister is your age and going through the same thing!

It could be the start, it is called peri-menopause. I am 43 and have had this problem for a year. I am now using the nuva-ring to keep me regular. Talk to your OB/GYN.

It certainly could be..are you having other symptoms like hot flashes/super pms/constipation/weight gain (especially around middle) fatigue/headaches etc? Go to obgyn to rule out other problems like cyst/pcos etc also to make sure you arn't pregant
