i've been asked out for coffee before, but i guess most guys ask you out for a drink because most people become more talkative after a couple of drinks and so it could be less awkward and you'd get to know each other easier. But i think it really also depends on the guy. I think confident guys are happier to go out for coffee.

Because you'd feel stupid telling your friends that a cute guy took you out to coffee and you drank so much that you ended up in bed with him.

It's easier to ask someone out for a drink - a bigger crowd, more noise, less awkward silences... plus if he's not that nice a guy he might try to get you drunk.... which would work for him better than have you over-caffeinated

if u are okey with drinks ..may be u are hot ..a lot more possibility ..and may be u will be more open ..so possibiity of getting closer is more ...after all it is all about love....one speciality about drinking together for me is i never forget who ofers me a drink or who is ready to drink with me ...he or she becomes my best friend very soon ...

depends on the day and time. Wednesday afternoon u meet some1 ur goina say lets take a trip to starbuks or watever.
Friday or saturday before clubbin or watever it is that u do, u are goina say lets go get some drinks cos...its friday ffs! know wat im sayin?

cause coffee does nt make girls as ***** as alcohol nor does it help with their vision/taste, havent you heard the term beer goggles?.
