Sir Elton is my all time favorite performer. What a super talented piano player, singer and song writer! I've listened to his music since I was a teen in the 70s. And I can't forget to pay tribute to Bernie Taupin, he's written most of the lyrics to Elton's songs. EJ Rocks!

Even if you don't care for Elton's style, you would have to have NO SOUL to not appreciate the talent behind the music he makes. Not only is he a talented pianist, but he's also a very strong vocalist. His only real flaw is that he can't write lyrics.
My personal favorite song by him is 'I Guess That's Why They Call It The Blues'.

I'm not an Elton John fan but 'Rocket Man' is a top notch tune and there's no denying it.

Love it, amazingly talented performer. When I saw him in concert, he had a grand piano on stage, and in the middle of the song he laid down underneath it reaching his hand up to play, and never missed a note. Awesome show!
I think some closed minded people have a problem with his being gay, but hey, since I don't want to sleep with him, who cares who he sleeps with ?!? :-)

i love sir elton, he is one of the greatest musicians of our times... he has even written a song for the hurricane katrina, all the way down in new orleans, for the survivors. i hope before it's over that i have a moment with him, to thank him, personally...
