I love it. I've been there 3 times this year. Twice to Warsaw and once to Krakow.

I'd definitely recommend Krakow - it's a great city - plenty to see and do. I went there for a long weekend with a budget airline. Auschwitz is near Krakow which though harrowing is definitely worth visiting.

I've not been to other towns in Poland since I was a kid, but there are other beautiful towns/ cities/ places that are worth visiting if you have the time.

I think the people in Poland are very friendly especially if you learn a few phrases of Polish, but most young people speak pretty good English.

yes it's a beautiful country. The person that said Polish people are immigrants for moving to Britain, check your history background, because as for the two countries, they are both in the EU. And they can work there legally. I recommend going to Krakow if you're just planning on visiting one city in Poland. The rynek (market square) is amazing in the summer. Gardens are set up outside and you can sit down, enjoy a beer, have a wonderful dinner, and watch horses n carriages walk by. The Wawel Royal castle is not far from the rynek. And Auschwitz museum is near by.

YES, it's a great little country. Some ignorants don't know anything about it and they assume is a poor, third world, wintery country. IT HAS FOUR SEASONS. I would totally recommend Poland!! Krakow is a beautiful city, also Gdans, Swinoujscie, Zakopane, MAZURY! Very gorgeous! I would recommend to visit Poland in the summer so you would get everything out of it! Have fun!
