I dreamt that I was a small, furry rodent living in a cage at a pet store. While scampering about, I was picked up and placed in a small transport cage, as someone was purchasing me. As my cage was placed on the counter by the cash register, I noticed a mirror close by on the wall. Looking into the mirror, I could see that I was a gerbil. Looking up at the person purchasing me, I noticed that it was Richard Gere. At that point, I clasped my paws against my furry little cheeks, squeaking "NO!!!!". I then woke up.
Any guess as to the meaning of the dream?

Dreaming of being a small animal has something to do with your self respect
furry rodent = timid, low respect, self esteem
cage = out of freedom, under someone's control

Basically, you are a person with low self esteem. You probably are looking for attention.
