I'm asking what's YOUR OPINION!! God! Hope this one doesn't get removed too! And thanks to those who found my question very offensive, I lost 9 points!

Let you in on a little secret...it's often the "nice" people who report other people on here.

The mean ones are mostly kids. (school yard rules apply)

The angry ones are mad about the same thing every day so they're easy to avoid. (They're easy to report if you think it's worth your time)

The smart ones wait for smart questions...(you don't see them around much these days. And I'm not talking about level 5 and ups either..)

The stupid ones aren't always as stupid as they sound (they're just pushing buttons to see who twitches...to me that shows a higher intelligence than the people who answer..heheh)

Welcome to Y!A

i haven't been around here very long and find that people can be pretty brutal with their opinions. i guess this is a place where you have to either not care what others think of your questions/responses or you have to acquire thicker skin so that you are not discouraged to use yahoo answers....or, of course, you can just not use the service.

i would like to think that the people using yahoo answers are nice people but i would guess that since they can ask and answer in a relatively anonymous way, that people tend to be somewhat more liberal in what they say to you and how they say it. There are no real consequences when someone is being "mean"....except perhaps losing a few points or getting an account deleted.

I think you have to take it for what it is and then remember that your opinion can be directed politically but not directly at others in this forum. I think it would be wise to note that people can have different opinions and still maintain respect for each others individuality. As far as answering the question goes I have been insulted in the past but it doesn't matter. I believe I was refer-ed to as being full of hate, but people that know me would think otherwise. Certainly we shouldn't take a few sentences and make a judgment from those words which may have been written at a bad time. If you read quite often you can get a feel of where people are comming from.

Actually, the question you asked IS a violation. The whole, "Do you like my avatar" question was deemed "overasked" and frivolous. Sorry you got slammed that way, there's some idiots here, but overall, it's a pretty good crowd. Have fun and take a peek at the guidelines so this won't happen to you again.

Hi, and welcome to Answers!

Most people are nice here. Oh, you get your share of RUDE, STUPID , MEAN answers, but most of us are nice. If you ask or submit questions or answers that are nice and think before you write, you will get good responses.

So many people come here that your question gets moved down the line quickly sometimes.

Simply ignore the stuipd responses and have a good time here.

I like your avatar. :-D

some people are nice and kind but the others are totally maniacs
your question was in to peoples confidential and private opinions and your not aloud to ask questions like that for example "whats your faivorate colour" "who's a lesbien on here" how many points have you got" ones like that also ones with swear words get deleted too but really i like your avater its similer to mine and you've got a realy good nickname too

A lot of people are mean on here. But I'm nice...unless a question really annoys me.

You should try to answer questions to gain those points back.

Most are nice with a few exceptions. I tell you a way to get your lost points back. Pick my answer as the best one. BAM!, you get 10 points.
