...so greedy?
They always seem to want more then they can handle....
Here's a small example:My friend wanted a glass of water.She was a little bit thirsty.But,she filled the whole glass ( 2 dcl) ,took a gulp or two,and then she spilled the rest.Why didn't she fill just a little bit?Half-full glass,prehaps?
I don't mind,we were at her house,but I've seen similar smaller things,people always (maybe they don't even know it) take more then they can handle.
I wouldn't call my friend greedy,I said greedy people thinking of bigger things...

alas, that is the nature of human beings. you have greed, and you have ingratitude usually. we want more, and we forget what we have when we lack something.
story about your friend doesn't really show greed, just the effect of a culture where they teach us that MORE is the norm, MORE has no limit, and MORE is good, always. now, the nice thing about growing into adulthood is getting to choose to believe what we are being taught, or not. i choose not. because most of it is nonsense crap anyway.

I understand. I met few people like that. You know, my ex-bf was too greedy, when he bought mineral water, he'd still demand for a plastic carrier. I'd tell him, why you still asked for it when you're gonna drink the water now & you're gonna dispose it anyway... Then he'd say coz when he buys something or anything, it must be put in a carrier, so he also paid for it. Also when we dine in at restaurants, he'd ask for so many ketchups & tissues and he'd just throw them away later.

people are greedy because they TRY to find happiness out of things, they think that the more they have the
happier they will be, sad to say , but this is SO FAR
away from the truth
only way to have a complete life is to have God/Jesus in your life , that's what I believe

exactly i find it annoying too people wasting water and food for no reason ...I mean havent they heard abt water scarcity in world or tht there r still some countries in world where ppl r dying of hunger..I think tht they r not greedt just selfish and inconsiderated........so i think its in the interest of the whole world tht ppl stop wasting water and food like tht .. :)

we are build to get many things as possible,if theres a giant sale at some clothes shop, i'm sure alot of people will go and buy as many as possible. i don't deny i'm like that too

people waste thinking they need it and then they throw it away. people do it with everything. I hate to see people waste food. Waste not want not.

it's human nature to want more than you can have and whn you have it you lose interest.it's just how we are.
