Hi there,
Facials are great, but they will encourage any spots that were under the skin but that had not surfaced, the massaging action also stimulates the sebaceous glands (oil glands), that's why you're experiencing this.
PLEASE stop using facial scrubs and acne soap, they will damage, irritate and dry out your skin even more and make your skin produce more oil.
Remember, with oily skin less is more. Find an oil-free moisturiser, one that is non-comogenic (doesn't block pores), use gentle cleansers, NOT scrubs.
And the best advice I can give is drink LOADS of water. Seriously, the best thing that got rid of my acne was drinking water, and lots of it.
There is also a type of contraceptive pill in the UK that worked for me when I was younger (called Dianette), now I'm not suggesting that you go on the pill, but if you are already on it then maybe ask your Doctor if you can switch to one that might help.
My washing regieme is now to only wash my face once a day, at night. I use a *very* gentle non-perfumed face-wash or just plain warm water, and every night I apply an oil-free moisturiser. Once a week I use a gentle facial scrub. The St Ives one is great for your body, but not for the face if you have problem skin.
I would also go back to the salon, and ask for some advice. Facials are very good for your skin, but they may be able to use different products next time.
I know how much this will be upsetting you, becasue I have been where you are.

Try cleaning your skin with Noxema. If this doesn't help you may need to get some Cetaphil skin cleanser, then apply some benadryl cream or something. Are you sure you are not allergic to anything they used at the salon? If could be an allergic reaction and not acne. If all fails you may need to see a dermatologist.

Your doctor prescribed your medication to slowly and completely clear up your sebacious gland problem. Since you decided to try and speed up the process and have now done more damage to your skin, you need to get back to your doctor and see if he/she has a medicine or combination of drugs that will undo that damage and get you back on the right track.
I'd strongly recommend that you pay attention when your doctor gives you instructions.

I would go to the doctor, you may be allergic to something they used during the facial. Dermatologist can tell you what is best to use for your skin type.
