Are Americans aware of the leak in nursing exams in the Philippines?

Will the Americans still recruit Filipinos even there has been a leakage in the exams for nurses going abroad?

credible source??? My gosh, it's known by almost everyone in the Phils.! It's a national issue!

I have a couple of relatives living in the Visayas who took the exam during that questionable period and passed.

While I am hard pressed to figure out how govt officials can figure out the extent of the cheating and what the remedy will be for it, for now it appears those who passed will be credentialed.

Even if those who cheated and were not caught are credentialed, they will still probably have a hard time taking the follow-on exams if they consider working overseas. So they will eventually get theirs.

Considering the effort and cost involved in preparing for the exam, I hope that my relatives and many other like them are not penalized for the misdeeds of the few.

I imagine many American recruiters will continue to recruit in the Philippines despite the scandal because this fact remains: the US still needs more nurses than their schools can produce right now. They just need to be more careful. And Phil Govt officials, having had their reps burned a bit, will make sure this sort of thing doesn't happen again.

.I hope America will sit up & listen, 4 all UR sakes.
We here in the UK have known about these dodgy nurses 4 a while now & have stopped employing them as a result of the this leaked information.
Philippino Nurses R renowned 4 treating patients with disrespect & like pin-cushions, some of them really seemed 2 enjoy inflicting pain.
Although I would imagine in amongst them were caring/good nurses but as is usual they'll all B tarred with the same brush!
