My Best Friend
Today I found a friend,
Who knew everything I felt.
She knew my every weakness,
And the problems I've been dealt.
She understood my wonders,
And listened to my dreams.
She listened to how I felt about life and love,
And knew what it all means.

Not once did she interrupt me,
Or tell me I was wrong.
She understood what I was going through,
And promised she'd stay long

I reached out to this friend
To show her that i care
To pull her close and let her know
How much I need her there

I went to hold her hand
To pull her a bit nearer
And realized that this perfect friend I found
Was nothing but my mirror.

I agree with Jennifer to a point, but here is where we differ. There are only three types of love. Love of an object, most often another person based on the image they have to you. Love for yourself, slightly more important, but not the biggest. And, the last type, big love. This would be the love of everything and everyone simply for being. This does not mean that hate doesn't exist, it only means that you can love someone basically no matter how you might view them. In that case, it is the most important thing in life.

Everything and nothing. Love is overrated. There are different types of love, but the only love that matters is the love you have for yourself. Once you find this love, you can do anything. There will be no limits. Its the paths we chose on this journey to conquer this love that make or break us. All other love is fundamental in different ways, but its true.You must first love yourself. And its that love that has everything to do with it. Its the only true love we can ever be sure of and it can take us ANYWHERE we want to go. Hope this made some sort of sense!

Everything. Life is Love, and Love is Life. Love is the golden coin that will admit one to heaven. Therefore the greatest thing a person can learn is just to love and be loved in return. A hundred, yea a thousand lifetimes are not in vain if Soul learns love.
