Dowling beading from any DIY store. Cut them slightly smaller than the width of the rug, attach to the rug by a couple of stitches of colour matching cotton, one top and bottom of rug. Hang on the wall using small wall nails. You should be able to do this for a couple of quid.

go to home depot you know the little flat sticks with little nails sticking out that are used to put carpet in a home by the walls nail one on the wall hang the rug and put one on the bottom and stretch the rug over it it works i have it in my house
