No affair is ok - get rid of the emotionally abusive partner. Then it won't be an affair

How is having an affair going to change your abusive partner? That is what you are actually saying when you ask if it's okay to have an affair because your partner is abusive.

Why don't you end the relationship? Before you jump into another one on the rebound, why don't you find out what causes YOU to accept being abused?

If your partner is emotionally abusive, just get out. What will an affair solve except to get your feelings even more confused? I think this would be very detrimental to your own mental health. You need to deal with the situation by itself without adding the pressure and confusion of outside forces.

An affair is OK, but it sounds lie you need to get away from this relationship. An affair won't solve the situation with your partner.

An Affair is NEVER okay. How would it make u feel if your partner did that to you? WHen in a relationship you should always put yourself in the others shoes and see how it feels, if you love the person. If it doesn't feel good just the thought of it happening to you then it's probley not a good idea.

No, affairs are never OK if you're in a committed relationship or marriage regardless of the reasons why you do it.

If you want to have an affair, leave your partner first. If he's abusive, you should be leaving him anyway.

An affair never helps any situation. If your spouse or partner is emotionally abusive, and they won't chnage or go to counceling, why put up with it at all? Divorce/Leave him/her and you can have all the sex you want. Good luck.

An affair is never okay, even if you're partner was cheating also. What would that solve? Two wrongs don't make a right.Your partner needs your support and you should get him/her some kind of couseling and be there by their side at all times.

No, that's still not an excuse. An affair is wrong. I can only suggest you get out fully from the relationship if it's bothering you too much. Get a life elsewhere.
